Preparation: API key (once)

  1. Create an account and top up credit (prepaid, no subscription).
  2. Create a key under Account → API keys (starts with mfx_).
  3. Paste the key when connecting Zapier, Make or n8n.

Connect mcpfax with 7,000+ apps. Actions: send fax, get price, resend, cancel scheduled fax, save contact. Triggers: fax delivered, fax failed.

  1. Open the invitation link and accept the mcpfax app in Zapier.
  2. Create a new Zap and choose “mcpfax → Send Fax” as the action.
  3. Connect with your API key, map fax number and document, test, turn on.

Send faxes with Make

The mcpfax app for Make (formerly Integromat) with 12 modules: send fax (file, text or URL), price, status, PDF send report, address book plus the triggers “Watch Delivered Faxes” and “Watch Failed Faxes”.

  1. Open the invitation link and add the app to your Make organization.
  2. Add an mcpfax module to your scenario, e.g. “Send a Fax”.
  3. Create a connection with your API key, map the fields, run the scenario.

n8n

Send faxes with n8n

The official community node for n8n (cloud and self-hosted): send faxes from binary files, text or URLs, price, status, PDF send report, contacts, balance and a trigger for delivered or failed faxes.

  1. In n8n: Settings → Community Nodes → Install and enter the package name below.
  2. Create credentials of type “mcpfax API” with your API key.
  3. Drag the “mcpfax” or “mcpfax Trigger” node into your workflow.

Unsolicited advertising faxes are illegal in the EU and not allowed on mcpfax.
